Mission & Purpose

"Student Leaders Dedicated to Stopping Impaired Driving."

Students Against Drinking and Driving (SADD) Saskatchewan is a legally registered non-profit organization committed to the prevention and elimination of impaired driving across the province. We are run by students, for students — with support from a provincial office and board.

We encourage and facilitate activities, events, and behaviours that prevent impaired driving — both directly and indirectly — through peer education, community awareness, and legislative advocacy.

01
Promote Safe Alternatives
Offering options to impaired individuals so they will not drive — designated drivers, safe ride programs, and peer accountability.
02
Public Education
Educating Saskatchewan communities about the legal, social, health, and safety risks associated with impaired driving.
03
Influence Legislation
Initiating and supporting legislation and public policy in areas related to impaired driving at the provincial level.
04
Build Leaders
Developing the next generation of advocates who will carry the message forward in their schools and communities.
