Jerry LarsonPresident I was first introduced to SADD in my grade eight English class, students from the high school came into preach about the different activities we could join in the fall. As I listened to the groups and activities I could join, SADD caught my attention, so in the fall when I heard the first SADD meeting being announced I immediately got excited. As time went on I became more interested in how the organization worked and wanted to be a part of it. Three years ago I received the opportunity to serve as District Representative on the Provincial Board. I jumped at the chance, I mean what could be better than being able to represent my own Chapter as well as others at a provincial level? After being in SADD for the past five years, I have realized how important District Representatives actually are to the running of SADD Saskatchewan. We need them so that each Chapter is given their time to shine and express concerns. I love being on the Provincial Board because I feel it is my own way of helping to bring the number of impaired drivers down to zero. Why not think about joining too. |
